The Pink House.
Door of Hope’s key project in Latvia is the "Pink House" in the village of Satiki. From a broken-down, ramshackle building, the "Pink House" is gradually being renovated into a multi purpose centre that will benefit many children and young people in the Satiki area.
The "Pink House" will provide lessons for children with learning difficulties, activities for young people, Christian Education, creative seminars, retreats and even a meeting place for the local village people.
A team of British people went out to work on the building at their own expense. Anyone who is interested in giving practical, physical help to this Latvian project should write to Janet King c/o Door of Hope.

The Elderly.
Door of Hope is also giving minor support to a local Home for the Elderly near Ventspils. Most of the occupants of the Home are child victims of the Second World War.
"Listening Course".
In a world of haste, noise and brevity of sensitivity, Door of Hope has funded and run Christian Listening Courses in Latvia in association with The Acorn Christian Healing Foundation. We at Door of Hope, have also enabled three very capable ladies, who successfully completed the initial courses, to visit the UK to complete the Acorn Christian Listener's Tutor Course so they can now lead listening courses themselves in Latvia.
